Steve Beckstead

Steve Beckstead is a true family man.

He has completed more in the industry of safety and firearms than most people will ever dream of.  His focus has always been to get better at protecting his family and helping others to do the same.  His certifications have served him well and his involvement with the NRA is second to none. Steve has been teaching the Utah Concealed Carry Permit Courses for many years now. He has been a competitive shooter as well as served on many committees dealing with the shooting sports and policies.  Steve does a variety of training for many companies and people, some of his qualifications are:

• NRA certified instructor in all disciplines offered,
• Master NRA Training Counselor and Chief Range Safety Officer,
• Utah Range Technical Training Advisor for NRA Range Dept.,
• Utah BCI certified concealed carry instructor since 1995 and bail enforcement instructor,
• Utah PACSCO certified instructor for armed security/armored car guards,
• Utah DOPL Peer Review Committee appointee,
• BSA certified firearms instructor having served as National Camping School Shooting Sports team member for 10 years,
• Graduate, Front Sight Firearms Institute and instructor in Uzi submachine gun and Defensive Pistol, Graduate instructor level DTI (John Farnam),
• Multiple attendee of Action Target’s Advanced Law Enforcement Training Camp,
• Graduate of various other courses.
